Course Description

Lunch and learns are informal training and development sessions that typically take place in a smaller group settings. The environment is designed to be both social and professional so its doesn't seem like regular "work". It's up to you to decide what's appropriate for your organization and what will benefit your people. 

This short 12-module course gives you the tools and framework to plan a lunch and learn for your organization.  Whether you're planning a face-to-face session or a remote event, the rules of organization are the same.  Interesting content, a targeted presentation and focused preparation are the keys to learning.

Joanne Tica

Joanne Tica is the managing director for Certified Impact LLC in Chicago IL. Tica has a master's degree in training and workforce development (Roosevelt University, Chicago). She specializes in helping business and nonprofit leaders build capacity in organizations through knowledge management strategies.

Joanne trains facilitators for women's mastermind programming through the Minerva League brand and specializes in the incorporation of micro-learning systems as an aid to training.

A successful professional business consultant for over 20 years, Tica has also worked extensively in commercial real estate lending, banking and entrepreneurial education, having previously served as the program director and lead advisor for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative in Chicago.
